In this package we take a deep dive in to the catering course offered at our school. My role in this story was to film
and edit, as well as ask the questions and manage the equipment. I did this story because cooking is a passion
of mine and I wanted other people to see different options at school. I also think its very unique and diverse. In the future I hope to make a similar piece, I would like to include a student interview.
In this package we talk to the new Vice Principal and discover her true personality. My role in this was to write the interview questions, film, script, and edit. I think it had a good impact on the community, people enjoyed getting to see her and see what she is like. If I were to remake it I would've made the interviews look better.
In this package we take a closer look at the new standards based grading policy. My role in this story was to research, email interviewees and film. I think this story did what it was intended for, to teach but also show different perspectives. It made me grow as a reporter because this package was challenging, it required lots of time and patience.
This package is from the EVTV (Eagle Valley Television) Halloween Special. Take a spooky journey with the ghost hunters. My role in this story was to edit and sound design. The community thought it was funny, I grew from this story because I realized I need to be more organized and think more before creating.
